What is XHFMS about? Its a long title, but the reality is that I am freelance musician providing bespoke and personal services to a variety of clients from backgrounds, both professional and non-professional. I started working as a freelancer when I realised that there are very few musicians who can provide a number of different services, at reasonable prices under the same roof.

Of course there are many people out there providing the services that I do - that's true, but very few can provide a variety of services to deliver the same project, while at the same time, providing a friendly, personal service. There are a small number of companies who do provide complete music solutions - but these companies deal exclusively with professional commercial clients with appropriately commercial budgets- the chances of a voluntary sector organisations, community groups or private individuals being able to afford these services or even be considered a valuable client worth building a relationship is not even worth thinking about. My clients have included everyone from an aspiring jazz singer to a professional gospel choir, a new publishing company to a community theatre company to a first time film writer to a professional West End director.

XHFMS is my way of helping a variety of individuals and organisations with their music needs by offering a service which is personal, friendly, flexible and cost effective.
